The opportunity

Hot Futures, a cutting-edge fashion brand with two retail locations, faced a major challenge when their flagship Shoreditch store had to close its doors during peak season in March 2020. The brand needed to rapidly evolve its eCommerce operations to adapt to shifting global shopping behaviours while continuing to support in-store sales as retail reopened. The goal was to grow both online and offline presence, ensuring the brand’s unique style resonated across all touchpoints.

What we did

Partnering with Jake, Tanya, and the Hot Futures team, we developed a dual-focused strategy to drive both eCommerce growth and foot traffic to their stores. Leveraging UGC and influencer content, we built a community of ambassadors who personified the brand’s bold and unconventional style. Small-batch manufacturing allowed us to create campaigns centred on scarcity and exclusivity, driving urgency through pre-orders and interest registration. The combination of social proof and trust-building content reinforced the brand's reputation while encouraging both online conversions and in-store visits.

The outcome

Hot Futures successfully evolved into a hybrid model, balancing eCommerce growth with retail recovery. The ambassador programme and UGC-driven campaigns not only boosted online sales but also strengthened the brand’s community, creating a loyal following that translated to in-store footfall. By harnessing scarcity and social proof, Hot Futures turned challenges into opportunities, solidifying their position as a trendsetting fashion brand in both online and offline spaces.

“They’ve got clear D2C pedigree, accepting responsibility across the entire value chain.”
